Pen and watercolor painting capturing a home that I've loved for years, as I walk down East Capitol Street (Washington, DC)! For this painting, I made a pen sketch as my base layer, and then added splashes and washes of watercolor, working expressively and spontaneously to create a vibrant finished effect.
